| Jupiter on January 30, 2004. The dark spot is the shadow of the moon Ganymede, which was just off the frame to the left. This image was made by averaging the best 50 out of 300 webcam frames using Registax, with further processing in Adobe Photoshop. The webcam was a Philips ToUcam Pro, and the scope was an LX200GPS 10-inch. A William Optics violet reduction filter was used for its IR-blocking properties.
