| Equipment used: TouUcam Pro webcam or Nikon Coolpix 995 camera, as indicated. Webcam shots used a 2x barlow. Nikon shots used a Radian 8mm eyepiece coupled to the camera. In either case, the scope was a Meade LX200GPS 10-inch, and for most shots a violet reduction filter and IDAS light-pollution filter were stacked to improve contrast. Registax 2.0 stacked the images and provided some processing, and Adobe Photoshop 6.0 provided further processing. |
